Already Source Audio's first programmable equalizer from 2011 gradually became one of their most successful products. Now, the effects pedal builder from Boston, USA has released a successor with features you would rather expect in high-end studio gear than in a standard-sized stompbox:

Direct access on the pedalboard
Inside of this essential sound-sculpting machine, 24-bit audio conversion and a 56-bit digital data path create audio quality at its finest. To allow for easy adjustments to its frequency bands, the EQ2 has an animated LED screen and a pot, which at the same time is a push button.
Alternatively, premade or uploaded settings can be quickly recalled from their preset slots. This gets even more comfortable with the separately available Tap Switch, which is great for preset scrolling, toggling between EQ channels, adjusting settings, or rerouting the signal path. Moreover, Source Audio's Dual Expression pedal can be used for controlling parametric EQ as well as for wah-like filter sweeping effects. This optionally available tool can control up to four parameters simultaneously!
Interactive usability on the screen
MIDI compatibility in the EQ2 means full functionality, including PC (program change), CC (continuous controller), and connecting to DAW software such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live, or Logic Pro. But, the benefits of a screen interface as in these music production tools can also be had on the Neuro Editor – Source Audio's free software for Mac/PC and mobile devices. This is where the detailed parametric equalization capabilities become visual while giving users comprehensive options for adjusting the frequency center point, Q factor, high-pass, or shelving frequency.
Basically, each of the ten bands can be moved to any point on the frequency spectrum from 20 to 20,000 Hz. Moreover, several options for the stereo channels, noise gate and limiter, as well as the expression functionality can be selected.
