An extra portion of coil windings produces a higher output, along with the two small ceramic magnets. More sustain, reacts sensitively to subtle vibrations of the strings. Comparing it with the SP90-3, it has powerful upper mids, which make the instrument very well audible in the mix. Ideal for heavy blues, classic rock, hard rock, punk and metal.
