The 55-02 has an active punch that will drive your sound clearly through any mix, with best in class tonality for a versatile and refined fit for any playing situation. The 55-02 doesn’t care if your gig is at a local tavern or the local arena. It pushes 100% pure tone every night. This Custom model features a White Pearl finish with a matching headstock, a 35" Scale Maple Neck, Pearl block inlay markers with Abalone accents and Maple Fingerboard. The LH3 pickups and onboard preamp are the same components you’ll find in the USA Series 55-94, powered by a single 9-volt battery that can be changed by removing a simple snap-on battery cover (no screws to lose!). Internal dipswitches let you select the midrange boost/cut frequency.

Note: For basses, a gap between the neck and body is considered an acceptable feature. A slightly larger gap between the neck and body prevents the neck pocket from cracking due to factors such as temperature and humidity fluctuations. A larger neck gap does not affect the playability or sound of the instrument and is not a quality defect or a reason for complaint.
