One Control Strawberry Red RC - Overdrive

The One Control Strawberry Red RC is a modified version of the classic One Control Strawberry Red Overdrive (SROD), specially tuned for humbucker-equipped guitars and heavy tones while still having the characteristics of a great high-end tube amplifier. Like the classic SROD, the pedal pairs with any amp and creates 'the' sought-after overdrive sound guitarists are looking for. The Strawberry Red RC OD reacts highly responsive and highly dynamic to highlight the best of attributes of your equipment and every nuance of the played signal. The versatile Treble and Low controls allow a precise adjustment of the sound while the Drive control offers a wide range of possible dirt styles. If you keep the Drive at the minimum level and increase the Volume knob, it becomes a clean booster at +6 dB. If the Strawberry Red RC Overdrive is used with a tube amp, you can emphasize the benefit of the amp even further and attain the ultimate drive you're looking for. You can use the pedal with British style amps to expand the potential of the amp EQ, you can produce a powerful distortion with balanced Level and Tone controls with American amps, use it with modern high-gain amps for tight gain-stacking drive and distortion or the Strawberry Red RC will even help you to recreate that high quality tube amp tone when you use it with a transistor amp.
