And indeed, this true stereo pedal has outstanding sound quality as well as some powerful features: endless layers of recording, reverse and half-speed effects, undo and play-only-once functions.

But then, the Eccos also features innovative neo-vintage delay sounds which allow for highly versatile adjustments thanks to the knob layout’s secondary functions. Preferred settings can easily be saved in one of the three preset slots. The inspiration for this double-awesome design, by the way, came from tape machine studio effects, which took hours of copying, cutting, and parallel playing back in the day.

Also new but at the same time familiar: the V2 version of Keeley’s 100% analog Neutrino Envelope Filter. After a component upgrade, the funky pedal pleases with better tracking and a new trim pot for adjusting the output volume. Apart from that, the Neutrino still has that classic vocal opto-coupler envelope sound, which can be influenced with the picking attack, as well as internal voltage doubling for maximum headroom.
