To make musicians' daily lives easier, safer, and more comfortable, RockBoard offers a whole tour bus full of practicable, well-engineered solutions. Now, two especially innovative, not to say revolutionary new systems come to the stage in order to get rid of some previously unsolved problems!
QuickMount – perfect hold for effects pedals
Users of one of the twelve RockBoard formats might already have guessed that there is more functionality behind the slotted surface of these pedalboards. For one thing, the idea of this design is, of course, that it can also be used with hook & loop tape as well as cable ties, and that cables can easily be stored below. But what is even more, in combination with the new QuickMount mounting plates, a superior 'rock-solid' way of attaching pedals becomes possible – so that the pedals hold super-tightly and securely but can quickly be removed from the board when necessary. Besides, further little helpers can be clipped into the slot grid on RockBoards: Cable Fix Clips for bundling and fixing cables, as well as a PickBox for storing picks and other small parts.
PedalSafe – protection against wet and dirt
As ruggedly built as pedals are – spilled drinks or rain on open air stages can kill a pedalboard completely in seconds. To prevent this worst-case scenario, we have developed the transparent PedalSafe protective covers – fitting for the most common pedal formats and compatible with boards of the most manufacturers. In this way, the setup is effectively protected from damage or dirt, and the settings are secured against accidental knob adjustments. At the same time, of course, the footswitches remain completely functional and, thanks to a removable lid, the controls are always accessible.
