MusicNomad Diamond Coated Nut File (MN650) - .010" / 0.25 mm
MusicNomad's patent pending Nut Files feature a revolutionary diamond coating & round "string-shape" blade design resulting in smooth, precision cuts. They cut & polish slots at the same time & do not drift like common toothed files. The industrial, even diamond coating cuts & polishes all the most common nut materials such as nylon, bone, graphite & TUSQ. They even work amazing on saddles. We added an ergonomic handle for total comfort & control of your cut, or you can remove the blade from the handle as an alternative cutting option. With 16 sizes to choose from starting with .010" up to .130", they work great for electric, acoustic & classical guitars & even 5 string basses. That’s MusicNomad quality – raising the bar in equipment care.nut file with industrial strength diamond coatingdiameter: .010" / 0.25 mm44 mm (1.75") cutting surfaceinnovative, round 'string-shape' blade design for smooth, precise cutslaser engraved size on the bladeergonomic handle and convenient workbench hang holeperfect for cutting and polishing at the same time for new or existing nut slotsgreat for the most common nut materials (nylon, bone, graphite, TUSQ) and even works amazing on saddlesNote: Used properly, the MusicNomad saddle file with diamond coating will last a very long time. Originally known from industrial applications, diamond is considered one of the most durable abrasives available. Use these files only for nuts made of bone, graphite, nylon or TUSQ materials, or for saddles made from brass or zinc. The files are not suitable for cutting steel. Clean the files regularly with a brush to remove grinding debris from the gaps in the diamond coating. Should the grinding action on the front part of the file wear off, the file can be rotated in the handle to bring the less-used rear part to the front.
