The Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Vintage J/J Bass is perfect for any player looking for a modern bass with that famous Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy treble range. This 6-string left-hand fretless bass has a chambered American Swamp Ash body with a Solid Black High Polish finish. The body shape is sleek and undersized with deeper cutaways for better playability and a full two octave note range. The neck is made from American Maple with a 2.13" / 54 mm wide nut and has a Tigerstripe Ebony fretboard. This bass is fitted with two passive Sadowsky Soapbar pickups, both in a modern position, and has active electronics that offer true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, as well as treble and bass boost. Hardware includes Sadowsky light open gear tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge. String spacing at the bridge is 0.71" / 18 mm and the distance between all of the strings is 3.54" / 90 mm. About us
Welcome to our family-run distribution service. We grew it out of a passion for guitars and music. Hans-Peter Wilfer gained his first experience with musical instruments at the guitar manufacturer Framus, his father's company. In 1982, at the age of just 24, he founded the world-renowned bass manufacturer Warwick and continuously expanded the product range.
His son Nicolas has been running the company since 2015. As a father-son duo, they bring decades of experience and love of the instrument to support dealers and suppliers in the music industry.
