This Sadowsky pre-wired onboard bass preamp is suitable for Sadowsky MetroLine and MasterBuilt Standard J/J, Hybrid P/J, Modern and Verdine White Artist Line basses. It features active 2-way electronics (boost only) with RFIP (Radio Frequency Interference Protection) for passive pickups. The 4-knob layout has controls for master volume, balance, Vintage Tone Control (VTC), treble and bass (stacked) with a push/pull function for preamp bypass on the VTC knob. The frequency range is 5 Hz to 50 kHz. The bass knob offers +18 dB boost at 40 Hz and the treble knob offers +18 dB boost at 4 kHz. Total harmonic distortion (THD) 0.18% at 1 kHz. Powered by a 9V battery that consumes 9 mA, the battery can last up to 870 hours. Input impedance is 1 mOhm, output impedance is 1 kOhm.
