This Sadowsky MetroExpress pre-wired onboard bass preamp is suitable for Sadowsky MetroExpress Hybrid P/J, Vintage J/J and Will Lee Artist Line basses. It features active 2-way electronics (boost only) for passive pickups. The 4-knob layout has controls for master volume, balance, treble and bass (p/p) with a preamp bypass via the bass knob's push/pull function. The frequency range is 5 Hz to 50 kHz. The bass knob offers +18 dB boost at 40 Hz and the treble knob offers +18 dB boost at 4 kHz. Total harmonic distortion (THD) 0.18% at 1 kHz. Powered by a 9V battery that consumes 9 mA, the battery can last up to 870 hours. Input impedance is 1 mOhm, output impedance is 1 kOhm.
