The treble strings from the Aquila Ambra 800 Series are made of gut-coloured Super Nylgut, developed to recreate the sound and playing characteristics of historical gut treble strings. Until the mid-20th century, guitar trebles were made exclusively of gut, known for their distinctive timbre, natural brilliance and tonal presence, qualities that were often regarded as superior to those of plain nylon strings and that in some aspects can be compared to modern PVDF or carbon strings.
Following these principles, the Ambra 800 trebles are designed to recreate the sound of 19th-century gut strings using modern synthetic materials. They feature a carefully rectified surface inspired by traditional gut finishing techniques and string diameters selected as an average of historical measurements. The result is a treble set that combines gut-like brilliance and articulation with the stability and reliability of modern materials.treble strings for classical guitar / historical guitarset of 3 stringslow tension for E-tuning (EADgbe)gauges (mm) 0.63, 0.78, 0.94synthetic version of the Gut & Silk 800 set (Aquila 73C)reproduces exactly a typical 19th century treble string setuptreble strings manufactured from Super Nylgutgut-colouredauthentic tone, similar to genuine gutmarked timbre and brilliant treble rangeshort stretching phase and stable intonationmade in Italy

Following these principles, the Ambra 900 trebles are designed to recreate the sound of early 20th-century gut strings using modern synthetic materials. They feature a carefully rectified surface inspired by traditional gut finishing techniques and string diameters selected according to the representative averages indicated by Pujol in his Escuela Razonada de la Guitarra (1934). The treble strings from the Aquila Alabastro Series are made of Nylgut, a synthetic gut monofilament developed to recreate the sound and playing characteristics of traditional gut treble strings. Until the mid-20th century, guitar trebles were made almost exclusively of gut, a material valued for its quick response, natural brilliance and distinctive tonal character, qualities that differ substantially from those of conventional nylon strings.
Following these principles, the Alabastro trebles are designed to reproduce the tonal qualities of historical gut strings while offering the advantages of modern synthetic materials. Their perfectly round and smooth Nylgut surface provides excellent acoustic projection and a brilliant, gut-like tone, while delivering exceptional tuning stability that surpasses that of traditional nylon. Based on our legendary Original series J-Bass pickups with dual-inline, split coils, these pickups cancel hum while providing that full and warm vintage tone you’ve been craving, enhancing the natural voice of your bass. Original Barts bring out your voice, low and clear.
In the early ‘70s, Bill Bartolini leveraged his deep knowledge of acoustics to create pickups that produce the most natural, musical voice from the instrument. He added shielding to block radio signals and noise. He developed a method of sealing, isolating, and stabilizing the coils so they could be encapsulated in epoxy to eliminate “microphonics” – the nasty noise you get when you touch typical pickups.
Candybar shapes were made for refined Jazz bass builders who wanted to avoid the routing hassles and busy look of standard J-Bass pickups. Screws and springs are not included. Due to the manufacturing process, the plastic housings of Bartolini pickups may show minor processing or handling marks. The cable ends of some pickups may also be pre-soldered. These characteristics do not constitute grounds for complaint or reason for return. Note: The return and refund policy does not apply to pickups, if their cables have been cut or soldered, or other damage affecting the condition of the goods is present.
The pickup housing shows hardly any visible signs of wear. Technically, the pickup is in perfect working order and has been tested.Voiced very similar to our Original Dual Coil bass pickups, our Split-coil Reverse P design provides extended reach and a wider sensing area, allowing for a narrower pickup to work with wider-spaced strings. Original Split pickups preserve the full-bodied low end of our Original series and adding even more articulation, a simple setup, and high value. Original Splits provide you with deep lows and low-mids along with nice treble complexity for manageable growl. The coils are fully shielded and sealed so they are sweat-proof and immune from invisible noise stage and studio equipment. The cables are shielded too. Available in balanced versions for neck and bridge. With the Bellows Legacy Reissue Fuzz Driver, EarthQuaker Devices is bringing back a long-missed classic in a strictly limited edition. Only 1,000 units will be produced worldwide – a rare opportunity for collectors, sound enthusiasts and anyone looking for an exceptional fuzz pedal.
The Bellows returns with the exact same circuit design as the original, but is now housed for the first time in a more compact enclosure featuring new artwork. Its character skilfully shifts between raw, amp-like overdrive and dense fuzz saturation, delivering a sonic spectrum that spans virtually every era of rock music, from warm vintage crunch to uncompromising fuzz.
With just two controls – Drive and Level – the Bellows is deliberately kept simple, yet offers an impressive sonic range. At low Drive settings, it impresses with an open, dynamic break-up reminiscent of classic Tweed amplifiers. As you turn the Gain up further, the sound gradually evolves into a rich, aggressive fuzz with plenty of character and sustain.
Although the Bellows was originally developed for guitar, it also works brilliantly with bass and even lends organs or electric pianos a distinctive touch of grit and vintage flair. Thanks to its true bypass circuitry and standard 9-volt power supply, the pedal can be easily integrated into any pedalboard.
As the original Bellows pedals have not been in production for years and have since become highly sought-after collector’s items on the second-hand market, this Legacy Reissue is also likely to quickly achieve cult status. For fans of characterful distortion and lovers of limited-edition boutique effects, the Bellows Legacy Reissue Fuzz Driver is an exciting and exclusive reissue.Bellows Legacy Fuzz PedalLimited-edition reissue of the classic in a compact design (1,000 units worldwide)sonic range spans from gritty overdrive to uncompromising fuzzwide tonal versatilitysimple operation via just two controlsexcellent for guitar, as well as bass, organs, or e-pianosLevel control adjusts output volumeDrive control adjusts input gain for varying degrees of distortionFootswitch with mechanical true-bypass switchingStatus LED6.35 mm (1/4") jack input6.35 mm (1/4") jack outputpowered by optional 9V DC power supply (2.1 x 5.5 mm barrel plug, center negative)input impedance: 250 kΩoutput impedance: <1 kΩcurrent draw: 13 mAdimensions (L x W x H): 3.75'' x 2'' x 1.75'' / 95.3 x 50.8 x 44.5 mmweight: 0.355 lbs / 161 gmade in the USA
After seven years of success with the legendary Life Pedal, EarthQuaker Devices now introduces the next evolution: HalfLife, a powerful distortion pedal featuring an analog octave boost in a compact format. Despite being half the size of the Life Pedal V3, HalfLife delivers the same massive, punchy sound that thrills Sunn O))) fans and heavy distortion enthusiasts worldwide.
HalfLife combines distortion, analog octave, and boost into a single, pedalboard-friendly enclosure. The "Amplitude" side is inspired by the classic "White Face" distortion design, enhanced by three selectable clipping options: "OpAmp" (no diode clipping for maximum, raw OpAmp attack), "Asymm" (two silicon diodes plus an LED for a slightly compressed, tube-amp-like crunch), and "Symm" (classic dual-silicon-diode clipping for that familiar Life Pedal sound).
The "Octave" section in HalfLife is a fully discrete analog full-wave rectifier circuit. The effect can be dynamically blended in via the Octave knob or an optional expression pedal - ideal for undulating swells or aggressive lead lines. For optimal results, the octave effect works best with single notes played above the 12th fret using the neck pickup; chords, on the other hand, produce a chaotic, resonant effect.
The signal path follows the order Octave > Distortion > Booster, with each section independently activatable via its own footswitch. Combining vintage tube amps with HalfLife yields a stunning sonic spectrum ranging from subtle crunch to massive, full-throttle walls of sound - perfect for the signature Sunn O))) tone à la *Life Metal*.
Flexi-Switch® technology enables versatile switching, allowing you to choose between latching and momentary modes as needed. With HalfLife, EarthQuaker Devices introduces the first standard, non-limited successor to the Life Pedal series.

The new "Scrolls Bass Odyssey" effects pedal from EarthQuaker Audio is a versatile, modern tool for bassists who want to shape their sound down to the last detail. It was developed in collaboration with Japanese bass sound master Kentaro Nakao (Number Girl) to process the natural input signal of any bass, effortlessly recreating the sonic character of a wide range of bass and amplifier combinations – from warm vintage sounds in the style of classic Motown recordings to powerful, modern metal tones.
Sonically, the Scrolls Bass Odyssey impresses with a broad range of characteristics: The sound is analog, punchy, and articulate, with a dynamic response and a pleasing, tube-like warmth. The pedal allows for flexible and precise shaping of the sound at all times, enabling both subtle nuances and radical tonal transformations.
At its core is a powerful drive channel modeled after classic tube amplifiers. Dedicated Blend and Bandwidth controls allow for precise adjustment of the distortion's intensity and frequency distribution. This is complemented by a high-quality EQ channel with active, audiophile-grade tone controls for precise fine-tuning.
Three intuitive push-button switches provide quick adjustments in live or studio settings: "Deep" boosts the low frequencies at 80 Hz for rich, clear bass. "Process" creates a mid-cut for a modern, assertive sound, while "Bright" emphasizes the high frequencies at 5 kHz, adding attack and presence to the tone.
An integrated effects loop, positioned between the Drive and EQ sections, offers additional options for incorporating external effects. Furthermore, the pedal features an always-on, buffered parallel output that sends an unaltered signal to other devices.
For maximum flexibility in the studio and on stage, the Bass Odyssey is also equipped with a balanced XLR output, including analog speaker simulation. This makes it ideal for so-called "ampless" setups, where you play directly into a mixing console or audio interface.
Overall, the Scrolls Bass Odyssey presents itself as a powerful, sonically versatile effects pedal that combines modern demands with a classic understanding of sound, opening up new creative possibilities for bassists.Scrolls Bass Odyssey - Drive, EQ & Cab SimulatorAudio tool for bassrecreates a wide variety of bass and amplifier combinationspowerful drive channel modeled after classic tube amplifiershigh-quality EQ channel with active audiophile tone control optionsquick adjustments via push-button 'Deep', 'Process', and 'Bright' switchesintegrated effects loopTrue relay-based bypass circuitryActive, buffered parallel outputXLR output including analog speaker simulationsuitable for 'ampless' setups, allowing direct connection to a mixing console or audio interfaceEQ 'Level' control (output volume)EQ 'Vari' control (boost or cut of the selected frequency)EQ 'Vari-Freq' control (frequency control 20 Hz-10 kHz)EQ tone controls: Treble, Bass, MiddleEQ 'Deep' switch for boost at 80 HzEQ 'Process' switch for attenuation of the lower midsEQ 'Bright' switch for boost at 5 kHzDrive 'Level' control: output volume controlDrive 'Blend' control: mixes the unprocessed signal and the signal from the drive channelDrive 'Bandwidth' control: determines where clipping is most pronouncedDrive 'Tone' control: low-pass filterDrive footswitch: activates the drive channel (with Flexi-Switch technology (Latch/Momentary mode)EQ footswitch: activates the EQ channel6.35 mm jack input6.35 mm jack outputXLR direct output with speaker simulationeffect loop, 6.35 mm input and outputparallel output, buffered, provides the unprocessed signal for external devices (amp, DI, tuner)Status LEDs (EQ and Drive)power supply via optional 9 VDC power adapter, 2.1 x 5.5 mm barrel connector, center negative polaritycurrent draw 70 mAdimensions (L x W x H) 4.75'' x 4.5'' x 2.25'' / 121 x 114 x 57 mmweight 1.16 lbs / 526 gmade in the USA
