Will Lee is one of the best and most requested bass players in the world, having played for Late Night / Late Show with David Letterman, Horace Silver, George Benson, Bette Middler and many more). The Sadowsky MasterBuilt 22-Fret Will Lee Artist Line bass pays tribute to his incredible playing abilities. With the famous modern Sadowsky bass tone, it never sounds harsh or shrill, but has strong, powerful (but never muddy) bass, present (but not too aggressive) mids and a sweet and airy treble. Seen here as a 5-string version with a Solid Olympic White High Polish finish over a sleek, undersized, chambered J-Style body made of American Swamp Ash, this bass features a unique slim neck made of Roasted Maple with a Roasted American Maple fingerboard. Also included are passive Sadowsky J/J pickups and active electronics with true bypass, a custom made preamp built to Will Lee's own specifications with added mid-boost (500 and 800 Hz) for more punch, plus Vintage Tone Control, treble and bass boost. Sadowsky MasterBuilt Will Lee Artist Line basses are made exclusively in Germany. The weight of this bass is never more than 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg).
