The Sadowsky MasterBuilt 20-Fret Ultra Vintage J/J Bass bass brings you a vintage bass with that famous modern Sadowsky sound! This 4-string version has a sleek, undersized chambered J-Style body made of American Swamp Ash and finished in a Solid Candy Apple Red Metallic High Polish finish and has a Roasted American Maple neck with a Roasted American Maple fingerboard. Special features of this bass include two passive hum-cancelling Sadowsky J-Style pickups, active electronics with true bypass, treble and bass boost and Vintage Tone Control that give you that special Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful (but never muddy!) bass, mids that are present while not too aggressive, and a sweet and airy treble range. It also features light open gear Sadowsky tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge. Made exclusively in our workshop in Germany, this bass weighs never more than 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg). A great choice for bass players looking for a beautiful vintage bass that is also lightweight and has a modern bass sound.
