Along with the electronics, which he developed by himself, he succeeded to raise the well-known M/J bass sound to a new level, so today you can speak of a typical Sadowsky tone: Never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy treble range. This modern bass sound can also be found in the Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage M/J line of basses. This 4-string left-hand bass, seen here in a Burgundy Blackburst Transparent Satin finish, features a sleek, undersized, chambered J-Style body that is made of American Red Alder. The neck is made of American Maple with a 1.5" / 38.5 mm wide nut and features a Morado (Pau Ferro) fingerboard. String spacing at the bridge is 0.79" / 20 mm and the string distance between all of the strings is 2.36" / 60 mm.
