Pedal compressors generally fall into two categories: transparent, studio-style compression and the squishy compression effect commonly associated with country music. The STEAMBASS compressor effectively combines both styles while introducing some innovative features. Designed to deliver Classic Analog Tones with Refined Modern Control, it includes controls for Threshold, Amount, Attack, Release, Detail, and Output, along with a Manual/Auto mode switch. In Auto mode, the compressor dynamically adjusts to your playing by modifying the Attack and Release settings accordingly. Simply set the pedal to your preferred compression settings and let Auto mode handle the rest. With its intuitive controls and versatile features, the STEAMBASS compressor is the ideal tool for musicians seeking to enhance their dynamic control and add punch to their playing.
